Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Falcon Wallet is a non‑custodial crypto wallet. The application is designed so that
you remain in sole control of your private keys and digital assets at all times.
This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we collect when you use the
Falcon Wallet website and app, how that information is used, and the choices
available to you.
2. Information we collect
We aim to collect only the minimum amount of personal data required to operate and
secure our services.
-
Support contact details. When you submit a request through the contact form, we
collect the name, email address and message content you provide so that we can
respond.
-
Technical and usage data. We may collect anonymised technical information such as
browser type, operating system, language settings, device identifiers, IP address
and basic usage patterns. This data is used for security, troubleshooting and
performance monitoring.
-
Cookies and similar technologies. Our web properties may use cookies or local
storage to remember preferences, maintain session state and measure aggregated
product analytics.
3. Information we do not collect
Because Falcon Wallet is non‑custodial, we have deliberately designed the product so
that highly sensitive wallet data never leaves your device.
- We do not collect or store your private keys.
- We do not collect or store your recovery or seed phrases.
- We do not have direct access to your on‑chain wallet balances.
-
We do not intercept or store raw transaction payloads or signatures that you
generate when signing transactions.
4. How we use information
We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:
-
Customer support. To respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues and provide updates
about your support tickets.
-
Product development. To understand how features are used in aggregate so we can
improve usability, performance and reliability.
-
Security and abuse prevention. To detect suspicious activity, protect our
infrastructure and enforce this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.
5. Cookies and analytics
Falcon Wallet may use first‑party cookies and third‑party analytics tools to measure
aggregated site usage and application health. These tools can provide anonymised or
pseudonymised statistics such as page views, device types and basic interaction
flows. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, but doing
so may affect certain non‑essential features. Analytics are used only to improve the
product and are not sold to advertisers.
6. Data storage and retention
Support communications and limited technical logs may be stored on secure, access‑
controlled systems operated by Falcon Wallet or its infrastructure providers. We use
appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit
and at rest where appropriate. Data is retained only for as long as reasonably
necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes,
after which it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under data protection laws such
as the GDPR, including the right to request access to the personal data we hold
about you, to ask for corrections of inaccurate data, and to request deletion of
certain information. To exercise these rights, contact our support team via the
contact form. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.
8. Third‑party providers
We may rely on carefully selected third‑party service providers, such as cloud
hosting platforms, content delivery networks and analytics vendors. These providers
process limited data on our behalf under contractual obligations that require them to
protect the information and use it only for the services requested by Falcon Wallet.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the
product, applicable laws or industry best practices. When we make material changes,
we will update the “Rules & Privacy Policy” section on this page and revise the
effective date. Your continued use of Falcon Wallet after any changes become
effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Terms of Use
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Falcon Wallet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood
and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must stop
using the application and related services immediately.
2. Non‑custodial nature of the service
Falcon Wallet is non‑custodial software. It allows you to generate and manage
cryptographic key pairs and interact directly with public blockchain networks. We do
not create or hold wallets on your behalf, do not take possession of any digital
assets, and cannot access, transfer or freeze your funds.
3. No financial, legal or tax advice
Any prices, charts, market data, estimates or other information displayed in Falcon
Wallet are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute
investment, legal or tax advice and should not be treated as a recommendation to buy,
sell or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.
4. User responsibilities
When using Falcon Wallet you agree that you are solely responsible for:
-
Safeguarding your recovery phrase, private keys and any other credentials used to
access your wallet.
-
Reviewing and confirming all transaction details, including destination addresses
and network fees, before signing and broadcasting.
-
Complying with all laws, regulations and tax obligations that apply to your
activities, including those relating to digital assets, sanctions and reporting
duties.
5. Blockchain and market risks
Public blockchain networks are experimental and involve substantial risks. Network
conditions, protocol upgrades, validator or miner behaviour and smart‑contract
vulnerabilities can all affect transaction finality and asset values. Transactions
are typically irreversible, and accidental transfers or interactions with malicious
contracts may result in permanent loss of funds. You acknowledge and accept these
risks when using Falcon Wallet.
6. Service availability
We strive to maintain a reliable and secure service, but we do not guarantee
uninterrupted uptime or error‑free operation. Access to Falcon Wallet may be
suspended, limited or modified at any time for maintenance, security reasons or
events outside our control.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Falcon Wallet and its affiliates
will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive
damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or assets, arising out of or in
connection with your use of the wallet. This includes, without limitation, losses
resulting from user mistakes, forgotten passwords or recovery phrases, hardware
failures, network outages, protocol changes, third‑party services, or unauthorised
access to your device.
8. Prohibited use
You agree not to use Falcon Wallet in connection with any activity that is illegal,
fraudulent or violates applicable sanctions laws, including but not limited to money
laundering, terrorist financing, distribution of malware or abuse of network
resources. We reserve the right, where legally required or technically feasible, to
take measures to prevent misuse of our software.
9. Governing principles and jurisdiction
Falcon Wallet is made available on a jurisdiction‑neutral basis and does not target
specific countries or regions for financial services. You are responsible for
determining whether your use of the wallet is permitted under the laws of your place
of residence. To the extent any dispute arises in relation to these Terms of Use,
they should be interpreted in accordance with generally accepted principles of
contract law and applicable mandatory consumer protection rules.
Security Practices
1. Key generation and storage
Falcon Wallet generates cryptographic key pairs locally on your device. Private keys
and recovery phrases are never transmitted to Falcon Wallet servers. Where supported
by your platform, keys are stored using secure hardware modules or
operating‑system‑level key stores.
2. Client‑side encryption
Sensitive wallet data is encrypted client‑side before it is stored on your device.
Any optional backups that you create using third‑party storage providers remain under
your control and are encrypted with secrets that Falcon Wallet does not possess.
3. No centralised custody
Because Falcon Wallet is non‑custodial, there is no central account or vault that we
can access on your behalf. We cannot reset or recover your recovery phrase, private
keys or on‑chain assets if they are lost or compromised.
4. Recommended user practices
-
Write down your recovery phrase. Store it in a secure offline
location, separate from your device, and never share it with anyone.
-
Protect your devices. Use strong passwords, biometric locks and
up‑to‑date operating systems to reduce the risk of malware and unauthorised access.
-
Beware of phishing. Always verify URLs, browser extensions and
connection prompts before approving a transaction or signature request.
-
Review permissions. Regularly check which dApps and services have
ongoing permissions to interact with your wallet, and revoke access you no longer
need.
5. Support contact limitations
Falcon Wallet support will never ask for your private keys, recovery phrase or full
seed words. If you receive a request for such information claiming to be from Falcon
Wallet, treat it as malicious and do not respond.
AML Disclaimer
1. Nature of the service
Falcon Wallet is non‑custodial wallet software that enables users to interact with
public blockchain networks. We do not hold customer funds, operate deposit accounts
or intermediate transfers of value between parties.
2. No transaction processing or monitoring
Transactions are created and broadcast by you directly to the relevant blockchain
network. Falcon Wallet does not execute, clear or settle transactions on your
behalf, and does not maintain an internal ledger of user balances. While we may
query public blockchains or third‑party APIs to display balances and transaction
history for your convenience, this information is derived from public data and is
not used for AML monitoring purposes.
3. No KYC or customer due diligence
As a non‑custodial software provider, Falcon Wallet does not perform know‑your‑
customer (KYC) checks or customer due diligence. We do not request or verify
identity documents and do not profile users based on their on‑chain activity.
4. User compliance obligations
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Falcon Wallet complies with
all anti‑money‑laundering (AML), counter‑terrorist‑financing (CTF), sanctions and
other financial crime regulations that apply in your jurisdiction. This includes any
reporting requirements and restrictions on dealing with certain individuals,
entities, tokens or geographies.
5. No freezing or reversal of assets
Because we do not control your private keys or the underlying networks, Falcon
Wallet cannot freeze, seize, blacklist or reverse transactions on your behalf. Any
enforcement actions or asset restrictions must be implemented at the blockchain
protocol level, by validators, by asset issuers or through other competent
authorities.
6. Jurisdiction‑neutral availability
Falcon Wallet is distributed as self‑hosted software and user‑facing interfaces that
are broadly accessible over the internet. We do not promote the wallet as a
regulated financial service in any specific country or region. If local law forbids
the use of non‑custodial wallets or imposes licensing requirements that you or we do
not satisfy, you must refrain from using Falcon Wallet in that jurisdiction.
